He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Sweeney and Sallie Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Mabel Louise Sweeney; and his daughters, Theresa Lester, Edna Gail Hines (Jay) and Lorine Hawks (David). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Atwel Mountain Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
