She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Deem and Nellie Boggess Deem; her husband Reverend Henry L. Matheny; and her grandsons, Jason Starsick and Roger Delwayne Lamp.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy A. Lamp Bee of Enterprise, Vicky L. Wells of Salem and Regina D. Starsick Knowlton (William) of Fairmont; her grandchildren, Michael Lamp, Joshua Starsick (Marsha), Jeremy Starsick, Annie Wotring (Ryan), Mark Knowlton, Mike Knowlton, Lisa Knowlton and Andy Knowlton; her great grandchildren, Andrea, Tracy, Kaylee, Morgan, Bailey, Ella, Ava, Scarlett, Jaylynn, Caedmon, Chloe, Joel, Josiah and Emmy; her great great grandchildren, Asher and Ivy; her brother Henry E. Deem of Ohio; and her granddaughter-in-law Heather Starsick. She is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
