It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy Denzil O'Dell Sr. of Enterprise, West Virginia, who passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Kemper O'Dell and Genevieve O'Dell (Hamrick); his wife Carolyn O'Dell; and his brother Dave O'Dell. He is survived by: his children, Troy O'Dell, Jr. (Edna Smith) of Smithfield, Jeffery Ramsey of Shinnston, Diane DiPerna of Enterprise, Tammy Matheny (Kenny) of Shinnston and Vanesa Harrison of Enterprise; his siblings, Carol Lee Tichnell and Jennings O'Dell (Darlene) of Enterprise; his grandchildren, Kristian Burge, Ricky DiPerna, Shalon Matheny, Tyler Matheny, Ali Riley, Savannah Ramsey and Emily O'Dell; his great grandchildren, Aidan Burge, Liam Burge and Kale Riley; and his caregivers, Deacon David Lester and Lloyd Parrish, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
