She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hunter and Emma Turner Hunter; and her husband Cleetus Dishmon. She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Cantley; her sisters, Mary Jane and Janet; her children, Emma Holt, John Dishmon (Jane), Louvennia Dishmon and Edward J. Dishmon; her grandchildren, Andrew, Todd, John, Corey, Amanda, Jennifer, Nicky, Angela, Rhonda, Lori and Annette; her great grandchildren, Justin, Brittany, Kenny, Sophia, Duke, Hunter, Braxton, Layni, Annabelle, Cordelia, Elijah, Gus, Gabe, Asa, Betty, Josie and Hailey; and her sisters, Sheila Stover and Sharon Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairdale Freewill Baptist Church (721 Bolt Rd, Fairdale, WV 25839). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
