He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Pyles and Dorothy Brookover Pyles; his children, James Pyles and Kathy Pyles Getz; his siblings, Bernard Pyles, Lawrence Pyles, Joan Green and Katherine Pyles; and his brother-in-law Jennings Green.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Pyles; his sons, Joseph W. Pyles and Mark Pyles; his stepchildren, B. J. Murray (Marlena), Scott Murray (Toni) and Tracy Murray Thompson (Brian); his sister Patricia Bland; and his children-in-law, Darlene Pyles and Mike Getz. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Domico Funeral Home (414 Gaston Ave, Fairmont, WV 26554). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
