He is survived by : his former life partner Ella Tate of Fairmont, WV; his children, Felicia Tate of Fairmont, WV and Felix Tate II (Misha) of Fairmont, WV; his grandchildren, Lillian of Fairmont, WV and Felix Tate III of Fairmont, WV; his siblings, Ruth Linear of Fairmont, WV, Joel of Fairmont, WV, McArthur "Mac" (Mary) of Fairmont, WV and Earl "Duck" Tate (Judy) of Fairmont, WV; his brother-in-law James White of Abilene, TX; his nieces and nephews, Charles of Fairmont, WV, Carl Harris (Joyce) of Fairmont, WV, Lorenzo Linear (Raquel) of Fairmont, WV, James White II of Abilene, TX, Stacy Tate of Fairmont, WV and Catherine Tate of Laurel, MD; his friend De'Andrea Bussey; and also, Inderia "Nita" King and Tina Clay. He is also survived by several cousins, great nephews and nieces.
