He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Martin and Laura Violet Dorsey Martin; and his siblings, George Martin (Dorothy), Robert Martin (Eleonor), Rex Martin (Ofelia) and Bonnie Kobus.
He is survived by: his wife Eliza Buozek Martin; his children, Laura Murphy (John) of North Carolina, Christopher Martin (Antonia) of Illinois and Mary Kathleen Martin of Illinois; his grandchildren, Ryan and Nina Martin; and his sister Zella Keener of Fairmont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
