He is survived by: his close friend Velva Sheppard; his sons, John Barberio of Clarksburg and Joe Barberio (Jodi Lynne) of Clarksburg; his grandchildren, Christian Barberio, Andrew Barberio, Logan Sheppard, Nicholas Rowe, Narayan Das, Niam Das, Trinity McCullough, Izabella Johnson and Arianna Johnson; his great grandchildren, Adysen Sheppard, Adontis South, Anyiah South, Arion South, Atlas Barberio, Noah Johnson and Nolan Thomas; and his sister Mary Moore (Wayne) of Clarksburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
