We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2022, at the age of 62, John Thompson of Fairmont, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl B. Thompson and Geraldine Thompson (Ice); and his brothers, David and Earl "Tom" Thompson. He is survived by : his daughter Amanda Gibson (Jeffrey) of McConnellsburg, PA; his grandchildren, Eli and Amelia Gibson; his sister Connie Butcher (George) of Fairmont; his niece Sarah Vessecchia; his nephews, Joseph Vessecchia and David Vessecchia; his cousins, Melissa Hunter and Andy Thompson; and his aunt Sue Thompson McArthur.
