He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferrell Mackey and Donna Mareta "Hall" Welch Mackey; his sister Vicki Welch; and his nephew Todd Welch. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Dannielle Manear (Jason) and Jessica Jean Erwin (Tyler); his grandchildren, Riley Manear, Luella Manear, Gladys Erwin and Teagan Erwin; his brother Kenneth Mackey (Becky); his uncle John Mackey (Louise); his brother-in-law Jimmie Welch; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Bellotte (Anthony), Amanda Hawkins (Brian), Christopher Welch (Gigi), Granttown and Jason Welch (Melanie). He is also survived by 4 great nephews and 2 great nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dorsey Funeral Home (701 S Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
