He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Dale Helmick and Edna Frances Helmick (Scarff). He is survived by: his grandmother Ruby Harris; his wife Heather Helmick (Foy); his sons, Daniel Ryan Helmick of Buckhannon and Joshua Ray Boyd of Wheeling; his grandchildren, Macie June Helmick and Audie Gene Helmick; and his siblings, Steve Helmick of Horner, Dave Helmick of Pruntytown and Deb Grose of Weston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
