He was predeceased by: his fathers, Robert D. Morton of Fairmont and Jose Antonio Fernandez of Miami, FL.; and his aunt Lydia "Tia" Fernandez. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Matthews Morton; his children, Melanie DeFrance (Josh Tomblin), Chad McClure (Amanda), Zachary Bravet-Morton (Elana) and Emily Torman (Jonathan Tyler); his grandchildren, Chelsa Glover, Braelynn McClure, Sylar McClure, Isabella DeFrance, Brantley Bravet-Morton, Kyleigh Bravet-Morton, Braxton Bravet-Morton, Ava Torman, Berkley Torman and Lainey; his brother Carlos Fernandez (Kimberly); his niece Joanna Fernandez; his aunt Pat Young; his cousins, Shawn Young (Amy) and Staci Burlin; and also, Chelsy, Selah Young and Emily Depine. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ford Funeral Home (201 Columbia St, Fairmont, WV 26554). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
