He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marmaduke and Ruby Ellen McElfresh Davis; his wife Nancy Ann Morris Davis; his son Paul William Granville Davis; his granddaughter April Dawn Abel; and his sisters, Nellie Davis Hickman (John) and Dorothy Ellen Davis Briggs.
He is survived by: his children, Jefferson (Princess Davis), Susan Morris of Fairmont and Barbara Ellen Davis of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Emerald Davis Robe (Steven), Melissa Morris, Steven Morris, Marsha Morris, Robert Abel, Shannon Abel, Daniel Abel, Amber Davis, Brittney Davis, Kayla Davis, Paul Jr. Davis, Brooklyn Quisenberry and Ashley Davis; and his brother-in-law Bob Briggs of Medina, OH.. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren.
