He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert T. Carr, Sr. and Ruth McCray Carr; his granddaughter Haylie Elizabeth Carr; and his sister Sally Ann Schwing. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Carr; his children, Candi Bolling, Robert Thomas Carr III, Kimberly Anne Sine and Jeffrey Lee Carr; and his grandchildren, Robert Christopher Carr, Anthony Ross Sine, Keyaunna Maree Bolling, Robert Thomas Carr IV, Samanthe Rayne Miller, AnneMarie Aldridge, Ryan Amelio Carr, Logan Jeffrey Carr, Daniel Allen Carr and Payton Elizabeth Carr. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and several nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Domico Funeral Home (414 Gaston Ave, Fairmont, WV 26554). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
