He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carter Satterfield and Anna Marie Sanders Satterfield; his former wife Cathy Lea Haught Satterfield; his sister Janet Satterfield; his sister-in-law Robin Faye Satterfield; his mother-in-law Phyllis Jean Hite; and his brother Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Ann Wolfe Satterfield; his daughters, Jennifer Sheets (Troy) of Fairmont and Blendora Williamson of Colfax; his stepdaughter Ashley Carson (Gary) of Grafton; his grandson Jett Carter Burson; his stepgrandchildren, Levi Shane Moore, Hunter Lee Moore, Nevaeh Justine Carson and Remi Ann Carson; and his siblings, William Lee Satterfield of Fairmont and Sharon Lee West of Fairmont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ford Funeral Home (201 Columbia St, Fairmont, WV 26554). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to the VFW Post 7048 for The Veteran's Relief Fund at 1310 Morgantown Ave. Fairmont.
