He was predeceased by: his parents, Arkey Amos Gooch and Evelyn Starkey Gooch West; his brother Melvin Gooch; his sister-in-law Madeline Gooch; and his sister Janet Gooch.
He is survived by: his nephews, Melvin Gooch (Pam) of Fairmont, WV and Tim Gooch of Morgantown, WV; his niece Rebecca Parrish (Greg) of Hummelstown, PA.; his great-nieces, Autumn Knight (Toby), Megan Weese (Joel), Rachel Gil (Damian) and Ashley Gooch (Chance); and his great-nephew Brandon Gooch (Melanie). He is also survived by seven great-great-nephews, and one great-great-niece.
