She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Getz and Alice L. Raines Getz; her husband Kenneth L. "Babe" Ferrell; and her sister Sharron Criado. She is survived by: her daughter Christy Lee Ferrell of Fairmont; her siblings, Austin T. "Butch" Getz, II (Ginger Getz) of Fairmont and Bonnie Curry of Parkersburg; and her sister-in-law Judy Rogers of Fairmont. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery (95 Mount Zion Road, Fairmont, WV 26554).
