He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Dale and Mary Smith Helmick. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Helmick; his children, Stephen D. Helmick, II of Fairmont and Tina Helmick Eskew (Jeff) of Stafford, VA; his grandchildren, Jacob Helmick (Kaylee), Bree Helmick, Kyle, Reese and Paige Johnson; and his siblings, Edward Helmick of Bridgeport and Mary Pearson of Sarasota, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
