He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Paxton Sr. and Betty Shuttlesworth Paxton; his wife Juanita Paxton of Georgia; and his grandson Justin. He is survived by: his children, Terri and Michael Paxton (Leeann); his stepchildren, John Singleton, George Singleton, Jeannie, Angela Bynum, Amanda and Amy Reiden; and his close friend Helen Dillow of Fairmont.
