He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Conaway and Mary Shuman Conaway; his brother Leon Conaway; his sister-in-law Patricia Conaway; his parents-in-law, Robert Lowe and Kathleen Oliver Lowe; and his brother-in-law Alan Acuff.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lowe Conaway; his daughter Amber Conaway; his brothers, Darrell Conaway (Alice) and John Conaway; his sister-in-law Kay Acuff; and his nieces and nephews, Crystal, Jack Murphy, Jeff, Maggie Conaway, JoMarie, Duane Bowers, LeAnne Conaway, Jay, Danelle Conaway, Brian Conaway and Karen Conaway.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Domico Funeral Home (414 Gaston Ave, Fairmont, WV 26554). The inurnment was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens (49 Rest Haven Rd, Fairmont, WV 26554).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Fairview Food Pantry and Marion County Humane Society.
