He was predeceased by: his parents, John Spence Sr. and Thelma Mae Toland Spence; and his siblings, Freda, Carol Spence and Roy Spence of Mannington.
He is survived by: his son Joseph Spence of New Port Richey, FL; his sisters, Joyce and Carla Spence of Mannington; his daughter Angel Tillman of New Port Richey, FL; his girlfriend Shelia of Fairview; and his friend Mary Carol Holman of Fairmont.
