She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl F. "Buddy" Cook Jr. and Joan Adele Haas Cook; and her brother Carl F. "Skippy" Cook III. She is survived by: her sisters, Barbara Bartley of Martinsburg and Wendy Headley (Ty) of Seabrook Island, SC.; and her nieces, Alyssa and Jenna. She is also survived by great-nephews and great-nieces, numerous cousins, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (327 W King St, Martinsburg, WV 25401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. Though able to retire during COVID 19, she elected to stay on with her team during a time when they needed all hands-on deck.
In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice or consider doing a random act of kindness in Carol's memory.
