It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eliza Belle Mongan of Falling Waters, West Virginia, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Eliza Belle may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eliza Belle touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harrison and Dorothy Virginia Twyman (Jenkins); and her close friend Douglas Mongan. She is survived by: her children, John Bell, Donald Douglas, Mark Martin, James Thomas, III, Michelle Randall and Matia Swan. She is also survived by ten siblings, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
