He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Fitch and Fern Evans Fitch; his wife Pearl Ann Henry Fitch; his grandson Buddy Worden; his great grandchild Kirsten Golden; and his brothers, Wilber and Phillip Fitch.

He is survived by: his children, Harold "Mike" Fitch, Debra Laing (John), Melanie Largent (Rex), Gail Fitch and John Fitch (Susan); and his siblings, Paul, Danny Fitch, Barbara Cline and Donna White. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren.
