He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Shilling and Elizabeth Shilling (Peterson); his daughter Suzanne Shilling; and his siblings, Richard Shilling and Linda Shilling.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Shilling and Angela Bernhard (Kevin); his grandchildren, Eric Seal, Christopher Hutzell, Cameron Gwinnutt, Mark Bielmann, Cole Bernhard, Corrine Aikens, Kyra McCord and Breanna Moats; his great grandchildren, Elias, Elin, Ella and Ivy; his niece Patricia Shilling; and his nephew Richard Shilling, Jr..
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
