He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benson and Mabel Shumaker (Morgan). He is survived by: his wife Deidre Louise "Dee" Shumaker (Shunkwiler); his daughters, Michele E. Maloy (Terry) of Hancock, MD and Jennifer M. Fogle (Paris) of Waxhaw, NC; his brother James D. Shumaker of Frostburg, MD; and his grandchildren, Caleb W. Leggett, Willa R. Fogle and Vivianna H. Fogle.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Osborne Funeral Home (425 S Conococheague St, Williamsport, MD 21795). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Medairy Lodge #140 (2 Milestone Terrace, Williamsport, MD 21795).
