It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jess Edgar Kelly of Fayetteville, West Virginia, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Ebenezer and Beulah Ann Kelly (Parker); his wife Georgia Ann Kelly (Cody); his children, Lisa Lynn Smith, David Wayne Smith, Jessie Edward Kelly and Michael Lee Kelly; and his brothers, Lester Kelly and Carl Kelly.
He is survived by: his son Peewee Kelly; and his grandchildren, Ashley Jenkins (Christopher), Brandon Kelly, Morgan Smith and Angelina Scarbrough. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Tyree Funeral Home- Oak Hill (999 Jones Ave, Oak Hill, WV 25901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
