He was predeceased by: his parents, George Albert and Virginia Skaggs O'Dell; his siblings, Arlin Dale O'Dell and Rosanna Treadway; his in-laws, Thomas and Lorene Holcomb; his brothers-in-law, Galen Carte, Calvin Treadway and Samuel Holcomb; and his close friend Lionel Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Holcomb O'Dell; his daughter Whitney Yarber (Eli); his granddaughter Charlotte Lorene Yarber; his siblings, Ina Hellms (Shirley), Darrell O'Dell (Rose), Delpha Bennett (John), Dreama Carte, Tresha Plumley, Laird O'Dell (Candy) and Jack Holcomb (Barbara); and his nephew Okey Skidmore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
