He was predeceased by: his parents, James Birdell and Edna Jones (Lipscomb); and his siblings, Jim Jones, William "Bill" Jones, Marilyn "Denny" Blake and Linda Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda M. Jones (Hawkins); his sons, Gary "Butch" Jones of Grafton, Sam Jones (Alicia) of Grafton, Joseph Jones of Flemington and Doug Jones (Kelly) of Morgantown; his brother Mike Jones (Lynn) of Nutter Fort; his grandchildren, Alexis Jones (Brandon White) of Charlotte, NC, Zack Jones (Danielle) of Grafton, Rylee Jones of Grafton and Belle Jones of Grafton; his sibling's children, Vicki Thieman (Rick) of Marietta, OH, Tink Stewart (Mallory) of Marietta, OH, Tracy Doll (Ron) of Clarksburg and Donetta Rodriguez; his siblings-in-law, Larea Jones of Nutter Fort and Gary Blake of Flemington; and his close friends, Tony Lipscomb and Tish Swisher.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home (950 George Washington Hwy, Grafton, WV 26354). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
