He is survived by: his wife Edith Kay "Katie" Tucker French; his children, Parrish French (Sherry) of Teays Valley, Travis French (Lisa) of Sardis and Annette Hayes of Clarksburg; and his stepchildren, Billy Dunn (Peach) of Spelter and Kelly Knight of St. Albans. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as many close friends.
