He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Kirkpatrick and Hazel Lemasters Kirkpatrick; his siblings, Gary Kirkpatrick, Dexter Melott and Mary Kirkpatrick Fulmer; and his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Cheuvront and Wallace Cheuvront (Teresa).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Cheuvront Kirkpatrick; his daughter Mary Denham (Rob); his siblings, Edward Aaron Kirkpatrick, Sandy Anderson (Don) and Charlene Rice; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Cheuvront, Cathy Reed (Jim), Brenda Hull (Fred) and Herb Cheuvront. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel (607 Carolina Ave, Chester, WV 26034). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
