It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Gene Krumenacker of Follansbee, West Virginia, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Cheryl Gene departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Cheryl Gene. Though Cheryl Gene may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Ciccarelli and Carmen Ciccarelli (Frio); her husband Danny Krumenacker; and her brother-in-law Jack Moran. She is survived by: her daughter Jamie McGaughey (Erik Hileman) of Follansbee, WV; her stepchildren, Kevin Krumenacker and Krista Smith; her sister Tami Pulice (Bob) of Weirton, WV; her sisters-in-law, Paula Adler (Patrick) and Judy Moran; and her granddaughter Hunter McGaughey. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mullenbach Funeral Home (669 Main St, Follansbee, WV 26037). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
