He is survived by: his father James Albert Ohler; his wife Kim Ohler (Brubach); his daughter Melissa Christian; his granddaughter Cassidy Christian; his brother Ricky Ohler (Lori); and his nieces and nephews, Lindsey, Kelsey, Michael, Jason and John.

An internationally recognized artist and talented musician, Denny was known for his contributions to rock, power pop, and modern rock music.
