He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hedmond and Lena Hedmond (Petrelle); his wife Helen "Honey" Hedmond (Eiben); his sons, Anthony Michael Hedmond and John Jack Hedmond; his granddaughter Brittany Hedmond; and his siblings, Florence Knight and Robert Hedmond.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Byers of Follansbee, WV, Terri Eltringham of Fort Myers, FL and Gabriel Hedmond of Follansbee, WV; his grandchildren, Mikayla Hedmond, Alissa Loebig, Emily Byers, Rylee Hedmond Barry, Nicklaus Eltringham and Jaclin Hedmond; his great grandchildren, Lazaro, Cristiano and Adalina; and his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Zak (John Jr.).
