He was predeceased by: his parents, James David and Helen Lucy Eltringham (Southers); and his siblings, Fawnda Eltringham, Teresa, Sandra Marsh and Rick Eltringham.

He is survived by: his wife Clorissa "Crisscross" Eltringham (Cross); his son Jamie K. Eltringham of Follansbee, WV; and his sister Rebecca "Becky" Eltringham. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
