He was predeceased by : his parents, John Miller and Josephine Miller (Ritz); and his siblings, John Miller, Virginia DuBois, Juanita Kennedy, Bill and Donald Miller.

He is survived by : his wife Leonie Miller (Janz); his children, Richard Ritz Miller Jr. (Robbin) of West Harrison, IN, Donald Michael Miller of Follansbee, WV and Michelle Morton (Jamie) of Moon Township, PA; and his grandchildren, Megan Miller, Richard R. Miller III, Jaime Morton and John Morton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
