He was predeceased by : his parents, George Cozort and Lakie Bailey Cozort; his siblings, Ben, Ervin Cozort, Lenie Tilley and Tressey Hasey; and his son-in-law Steven Cales.
He is survived by : his wife Rosetta Brooks Cozort of Forest Hill, WV; his children, Benny Cozort (Donna) of Marie, WV, Richard Cozort (Missy) of Bozoo, WV, Stoney Cozort (Sherry) of Red Sulphur, WV, Catherine Cozort of Peterstown, WV, Connie Knight (Randy) of Forest Hill, WV, Darlene Bridges (Randy) of Cashmere, WV, Dorene Combs (Kenny) of Kentucky and Almey Cales of Talcott, WV; and his brothers, Holt Cozort (Shirley) of McGraws, WV and Henry Cozort (Janet) of Raleigh County, WV.. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
