It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Johnson of Forest Hill, West Virginia, born in Marksville, Louisiana, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rufus Bearden and Mildred Marie Smith Bearden; her husband Thomas Johnson; her daughter Penny Johnson; her grandson Andrew Johnson; and her siblings, Melba Maes, Virginia Mansfield, Pete, Donnie and Wayne Bearden.
She is survived by : her children, David Lee Johnson (Marilyn) of Lady Lake, FL, Mary Jo Harper (James Smith Jr.) of Chesapeake, VA and James Keith Johnson (Melanie) of Chesapeake, VA; her grandchildren, Brittany Johnson, Corey Harper and Taylor Johnson; her great grandchild Salem Williams; and her sisters, Rose Babb of Harbinger, NC and June Bearden of Greensboro.
