He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Turner and Norene Saunders Turner; and his siblings, Linda Turner Coleman, Robert J. Turner and Earl R. Turner.

He is survived by : his wife Remona Harris Turner; his children, Christie Teague (Todd), Stephen Turner (Bobbi) and Susan Rutherford (Roy); his grandchildren, Katelyn Teague, Jacob Teague, Emily Turner, Jordan Rutherford and Sarah Turner; his siblings-in-law, Jane Turner and Andrew Coleman; and his pet Baxter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
