It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Watts of Fort Ashby, West Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances Watts to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Hoopengardner and Florence Hoopengardner; her husband Glenn L. Watts, Sr.; and her children, Thomas D. Watts and Gilbert T. Watts.

She is survived by : her children, Glenn L. Watts, Jr. (Sharon), Clarence D. Watts (Christina), Daniel R. Watts (Charlotte), Garry M. Watts (Linda), Sheila J. Harr (Harry Kelly) and Marlene T. Simmons (Robert); and her daughters-in-law, Shirley M. Watts and Faye S. Watts. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.

Face masks and social distancing are required.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Elk Garden Assembly of God Church or the Nethkin Hill United Methodist Church.

“To all the family of Mrs. Watts you have my sympathy in the loss of your mother/mother-in-law, etc. She was a wonderful, sweet friend, one who will be missed by all who knew her. While she was visiting in SC my friend Judy Talbot and I got to know her pretty well and enjoyed our visits at the Nursing Home as we visited her every Thursday for 5 years. Garry & Linda thank you for taking care of her. She wanted to make it to 100 yrs. old but 101 was even better. Love you, Mary Harmon - SC”
