He was predeceased by : his father Ervin Bowen; and his brother William "Hoss" Bowen. He is survived by : his daughter Stephanie Bowen (Bill McCoy) of Huntington, WV; his siblings, Gloria Jean Marcum of Stone Coal, WV, Donna Sue Cline (Donnie) of Blaine, KY and Nolan Kay Berry, Jr. (Evelyn Robertson) of Fort Gay; and his grandson John Denvil Perry, II.
