He is survived by: his brothers, Frank Shaffer (Mary) of St. Marys, WV and Ira Huffman (Carolyn) of Frame, WV.; his children, John Jr., Robert (Melissa), James (Jodie) of Pinch, WV and April Good (Kevin) of Frame, WV; his adoptive sons, Roy Young (Tina) of Frame, WV. and BJ Wilson (Gerri) of Elkview, WV.; his grandchildren, Cody Shaffer, Christopher Good (Kristen) and Kiara Little (Adam); his great grandchildren, Amanda, Charlotte, Presley "Peanut" Little, Cynthia, Destiny, Faith, Jamie "Diggy" Good and Violet Shaffer; his grandchildren, Leah Harper, Haylee Wilson and River Scott; and his pets, Killer and Toby. He is also survived by many other family members, as well as friends.
