He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Perry Nicholas and Glenna Vaughan Nicholas; his wife Janice Santy Nichols; his sons, Roger Nichols, Alan Nichols and Billy Nichols; his sister Mary Lou Childress; and his grandson Jerry Morris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Jarvis of Elmira, Anita Miller of Sutton and Lisa Chenoweth (Mitch) of Frametown; and his sisters, Sue Thompson of Frametown and Vida Lea Nottingham of Duck. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
