He was predeceased by: his parents, Byrl Boyd and JoAnn Adams Brown; his son Butler Boyd Brown; and his brother Clarence Wayne "C. W." Brown. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ames Brown; his daughter Sara Brown (Shane Johnson) of Frankford, WV; his daughter-in-law Letisha "Tish" Cole Brown; his siblings, Valerie Warren (Ralph "Chub") of Lewisburg, WV, Robin Hall (Darrell) of Pfafftown, NC, Rodney Brown (Susan) of Deerfield Beach, FL, Terry Brown (Evelyn) and Brian Brown of Frankford, WV; his siblings-in-law, Amy Brown Pence (Greg Pence) of Ocala, FL and Darrell Hall; his nephew Jordan Brown; and his close friends, Shane Johnson, Curtis Hill, Rick Hawver and Ron Eggleston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lewisburg Funeral Chapels (884 Jefferson St, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Frankford United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Morningside Cemetery (23383 Seneca Trail, Renick, WV 24966).
