It is with sadness that the passing of Leon Hevener (Franklin, West Virginia) is shared. Leon, born on April 5, 1943, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James Hevener and Violet Kathleen Armentrout Hevener; and his siblings, Dwight Hevener, Steven Hevener, Alma Jean Wagoner and Sherry Hevener Kile.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Shay Burns (Rick) of Parsons and James Leon Hevener (Susan) of Chesterfield, VA; his brother Hal Hevener (Tina) of Idamay, WV; his grandchildren, Kimberly Spears (Daniel), Bethany Pennington (Chris), Joshua Burns (Autumn Pifer), Betty Sue Varner (Ben), Jessie Williamson (John), Sami Jones (Zane) and Sara Hevener (Nathan Hayes); and his great grandchildren, Jaydon, Avyanna, Onyx, Brinley, Kensley, Max and Leo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kimble Funeral Home (80 S Main St, Franklin, WV 26807). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
