She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dewey Mattox and Mabel Ellen Mattox (Westfall); her husband Charles Junior Westfall, Sr.; her daughter Marcella Sinnett; her sisters, Hilda Simmons, Bonnie Pennington, Stella Philippi, Beulah Sharp and Kay Wilfong; and her stepson Charles Junior Westfall, II.
She is survived by: her son Oliver "Buster" Mowery of Franklin, One; her siblings, Ruth Miller (Conrad) of Mathias, WV, Ervin Mattox (Lydia) of Baker, WV, Homer Dewey Mattox of Burlington and Willard Mattox (Judy) of Blacksburg, VA; and her grandchildren, Oliver Brian Mowery, Derek Mowery, Agenia Mowery, Vanessa Mowery and Melina Mason. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kimble Funeral Home (80 S Main St, Franklin, WV 26807). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
