She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy L. Toliver Hoover and Nellie Lona Hoover; the father of her children Paul Bolton, Sr.; her husband Ershel Ray Michael; and her siblings, Roy Hoover, Herbert Hoover, Velma Gillispie, Bessie Smith, Mary Baldwin, Beulah Propst and Leola Snyder.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Bolton, Jr. (Mary Jane) of Brandywine and Richard Bolton (Judy) of Petersburg, Nine; and her grandchildren, Donnie Bolton, Stacy Bolton, Joni Lee Bolton, Billi Jo Bolton Swauger, Rhonda Ketterman, Tammy Johnston, Clark Lambert, Daniel Lambert and James Edward "Eddie" Propst.
