It is with sadness that the passing of Patty Jean Willis (Franklin, West Virginia) is shared. Patty, born on April 1, 1939, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Henry Merritt and Martha Lindsay Merritt; her husband William N. Willis; her siblings, Marvin, Arnold, Edwin, Dewey and Marion; her daughter-in-law Denise Lamb-Willis; and her grandsons, Jquan Willis and Monte Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Willis of Franklin, Terry Willis (Denise Lamb-Willis), Karen Willis-Hilliard (Anthony) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Patrick "Chip" Willis (Asala) of Harrisonburg, Virginia and Kara Willis of Franklin; and her sister Vivian. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and the many family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home (826 Blue Gray Trail, Franklin, WV 26807). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
