In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth Propst shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth Propst farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father Dillon Stanley Propst; her brother Eston "Butch" Propst; and her sister-in-law Judy Mae Gordon Propst. She is survived by: her mother Virginia Hively Propst of Moyers; her daughter Kathy Propst Nelson (Lynn); her grandson Jarod Nelson Noah Nelson (Jenny); her niece Missy Propst Harrison (Gary); and her nephew Daniel Propst (Debbie). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kimble Funeral Home (80 S Main St, Franklin, WV 26807). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (26 Black Thorn Rd, Sugar Grove, WV 26815).
