He was predeceased by: his parents, George Arthur Kile and Cleta Mae Kile (Mallow); and his siblings, Richard L. Kile, Samuel K. Kile, G. Arlin Kile, Carroll D. Kile, Dorotha Thompson and Kathleen Lotspeich.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Kile (Hartman); his children, Elwood S. Kile (Robin) of Franklin, WV, Matthew S. Kile (Cathy) of Franklin, WV and Teresa Bowers (Roy) of Sugar Grove, WV; his grandchildren, Seth Bowers, Madison Kile and Evan Kile; his great grandchildren, Cayson, Laney, Landon, Piper, Lucas and Aspen; his sister-in-law Faye Kile of Upper Tract, WV.; Eleanor Triem of Eugene. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
